[He says, quickly grabbing his pyjamas and getting changed into them in the bathroom, putting his dirty clothes in the laundry, and ensuring that Murr had access to some water if needed during the night. He pets Murr before heading towards his bed and turning off the light, pulling back the blankets and climbing into his bed.]
[ He leaves it at that, not having the courage to ask Noé for his presence again. This is so new to him that he doesn't quite know how to handle this - or handle himself, really. Still, he's so tired that he ends up falling asleep anyway, despite his wishes.
The windchill gets to him during the night, even with the covers over him, and it wakes him up in the middle of the night. He can't sleep after it does, no matter how hard he tries.
Vanits grunts, and he sits up, wraps the outer blanket around him. Then, he goes to Noé and tries to shake him awake. ]
[Noé was oblivious to the chill, sprawled with the blanket half off of him at his waist and one foot hanging out of it in his sleep. He hadn't been sure if suggesting or asking if Vanitas wanted to share the bed again would be welcome. They're both still figuring this out. Maybe this time, Vanitas had wanted his space for a decent rest. The vampire doesn't mind. He figures they could take their time working this out together.
When Vanitas wakes and shakes him, Noé pouts, blinking up at him sleepily in groggy concern.]
[ Vanitas looks down at him, and he softly nudges Noé's shoulder - ]
Move over. I'm cold.
[ He is, yes. The old Vanitas would've just put up with it, though, would've either kept himself busy or found another way to fall back asleep. This time, though, he's taking his chances. He just hopes Noé won't make him spell it out, though, because in reality, he just wants to be close. ]
Ah? Oh. Okay. Did you want to bring more blankets from your bed?
[He's still groggy, still in that just barely awake state, conscious enough to understand that Vanitas apparently wants to join him. He shifts, his back to the wall next to the bed, as he moves over, pulling at the blanket to let Vanitas join him when he is ready. If he needs to get anything else. He fails to stifle a yawn as Murr stirs from his sleep to glance over.]
[ He lets out one of those frustrated grumbles again before he crawls into Noé's bed, and before the vampire can say anything else, Vanitas hides his face. He tucks it under Noé's chin and buries it halfway into the other's chest, mostly because he's flustered and doesn't want to be seen, but also. Warm. ]
[Noé says in return as the other seems to shift and get comfortable next to him. He sighs, instinctively wrapping one arm around the other's waist as he closes his eyes and tries to get back to sleep. To drift off again. Murr's tail twitches as they seem to lie back down again, quashing any hope of playing again or getting more food or treats. Noé tries to remain still, not to toss and turn. There isn't as much room to, but he also doesn't want to disturb Vanitas.]
[ He is, perhaps surprisingly, sleeping very well. In fact, this time around, Noé will be the first one to wake up. Vanitas is sleeping rather heavily, and he's certainly snuggled up to the vampire in his sleep. He's comfortable. Still, he's a light sleeper, so it won't take much to get him to rise in the morning. ]
[Noé almost instinctively stretches, but as he wakes, he realizes that the other has become quite entangled with their limbs. He figures it might be best to try to remain still. At least for a while. It isn't like he often gets this. And the other was clearly tired. It's a rarer moment when Vanitas looked almost content. Peaceful. So he tries to remain still at least for a bit. Just resting and watching Vanitas sleep for a bit before eventually closing his eyes himself. He doesn't quite drift off, but he does stir again when Murr wakes and meows, nudging at his cheek.]
Mm? Okay, give me a second, Murr and I'll get your breakfast.
[ Murr's meow is what gets Vanitas to stir, too, and he opens his eyes, lifts his head up from Noé's chest. Ah, right. He fell asleep here again. ]
Mm...he's hungry?
[ If that's the case, he'll try to move to get out of the bed since he's on the outside. This is proving to be difficult, though. He's comfortable. Whoops. ]
Mm. He wants breakfast. Morning, Vanitas. Sorry, I wasn't sure if I should wake you or wait...
[Noé isn't sure if the other was upset about being woken up or not. He does at least take the chance now that he knows Vanitas was awake to shift slightly to get more comfortable, until Vanitas lets him get up. Murr could wait a minute. It wouldn't kill him. Though if they wait too long, his protests might get louder.]
[ The sun is much brighter than it usually is when he wakes up. He, too, shifts into a more comfortable position on instinct, curling into Noé a little more. The temptation to doze off again is quite loud, but Murr is hungry and that is also important.
With that, Vanitas grunts and looks up at Noé. He seems pretty grumpy that he has to move, but he pushes himself up and moves to stand up so Noé can get out of bed and feed his cat. ]
It does seem a little later than usual? But that's okay. We didn't have any major plans today, right?
[He doesn't seem to mind. Provided Murr doesn't get too impatient and come over and scratch them or yowl loud enough to wake up everyone in the other rooms, too. Still, when Vanitas gets up, he does, too. Running a hand through his hair and heading to the kitchen to get Murr some breakfast. He fails to stifle a yawn and stretches as he places Murr's bowl down in the kitchen.]
[ So probably not; he's only second-guessing himself because he's so used to keeping himself busy that it's strange when he has a lot of downtime. He's usually good about doing chores and errands when there's nothing else, but today, he feels a little lazy, and doesn't seem like he's in a hurry to go anywhere. ]
Well, I suppose other than checking on the status of that reporter, it wouldn't be so bad to rest today.
[ If Noé wants to explore more, Vanitas will tag along as his leash. ]

[He likes the idea of a more relaxed day. They don't often have that. They may as well enjoy the time to themselves while they can. Before things get busy again. But Vanitas is right that he does want to check in and see how she was. So he nods, giving a small smile at the idea as he pets Murr and gives him some water.]

[ He nods tiredly and stretches. He feels a little sluggish, but he's also not used to sleeping so much and so well. He grabs himself a glass of water as Noé takes care of his cat, and once Murr is satisfied, he'll sit at the dining table and grab water for Noé as well. ]
We haven't had downtime in a while. [ He's noticed. They've been pretty busy. ] Looks like there's time for you to go exploring again.

Which was probably for the best, given how often he gets turned around at the best of times. He takes the offered water, finding himself thirstier than he had thought, thanking Vanitas before he sips at it after joining the doctor at the dining table.]
[ Vanitas lets out an exasperated sigh, but he's really not all that bothered. He was the one who suggested it, after all. He props an elbow up on the table and leans his chin on his hand, looking at Noé, already knowing what he's setting himself up to do today. It...could be nice. ]

Since we aren't in as much of a hurry this time, I wouldn't be opposed to getting there by foot. Saves us the trouble of paying for transportation.
[He agrees, smiling as he emerges dressed in one of his outfits that Domi had probably helped pick out for him before he left home. His shirt might be a little rumpled, but at least his nose isn't looking too bad after last night.
